ORIGIN OF INSTITUTE

Federation of Freight Forwarders' Associations in India, set up in the year 1962, has fulfilled its desire to promote a training establishment for CHAs and Freight Forwarders by setting up Indian Institute of Freight Forwarders in the year 2004 with the objective of training and developing human skills of the highest order to match the global standards. IIFF has set its goal to vocationalise the available man power and provide them to the industry.The management and control of the Institute is vested with the Board of Governors and Academic Council of the Institute.
THE MISSION OF IIFF

a.  To impart advance education and enhance the skill of the work force of Logistics, CHA and Freight Forward Industry.

b.  To Introduce different modes of instructions including distance learning and e-learning for the participants of the educational
     programme.

c.  To attract fresh talents from within and also outside CHA, Freight Forwarders and Logistics community and train them as
     professional workforce.

d.  To define, promote and uphold professional code of ethics for the CHA, Freight Forwarders and Logistics  fraternity with a view
     to maintain high professional standards.

e.  To conduct and promote Research & Development on subjects concerning to the entire logistics industry.
FACULTY AND TEACHING METHOD

The faculties for this course have been carefully selected among the industry experts,  who combine work experience with teaching expertise. Apart from class room sessions a variety of teaching methods will be implemented like, individual and group assignments, case  analysis and projects involving application of concepts to an organizational context.
